    Hi guys,

I just got myself a new A7N8X-X motherboard with a 2600+ Cpu and 512 Mb of Kingston DDR400. FYI my video card is a Matrox G450. I installed XP pro and it keeps
freezing and crashing, expecialy when I play Generals.
I'm pretty sure it has something to do with my bios settings. Does anyone have the same setup and could share some good bios settings.

    Thanks for your help.

I have the same mobo : asus A7N8X-X with an Athlon 2400 cpu with 512 Crucial RAM.. I had my bios setting set at Aggressive mode which caused system to freeze and crash radomly so I dropped it down to Optium setting which has been more stable.. Id suggest adjusting your performance setting.. Also if you happen to have Mcaffee Virusscan installed and running as actvice shield, try disabling active shield. I ditched it and system hasnt been crashprone as often since

i had the same problem, it turned out , that my ram wasnt compatible with the motherboard.i switched to an approved brand ( ocz, and hynix ) and it works fine now.
