First of all I know you will be fed up with this type of question but I have checked all pics of original and clone starviews and mine seems to be a mismatch and I am stuck so thanks for any info. Right first box went back as a clone as it died after update. Second box arrived with V3.0e_E firmware. I want to update it for the new V4 EPG firmware but when I checked I have the Genuine 1st gen remote 18 x 7 slots Clone Heatsink and capacitors and red blobs V3 software working etrontec chip scart to right GCR3510CX REV.B 2005.09.05 Majority says clone but what confuses me is the remote and the GCR3510CX REV.B 2005.09.05 which says 1st gen. Also would a clone have a firmware of V3.0e_E Boot Ver. 7 27.May 2007 working thanks again
Oh well i couldnt wait any longer and updated it to V4 as I read in one thread that a guy who had V3 must not have a clone as he had, had it working too long for it not to be a clone. so it seems the helful sites that say what is and what isnt a clone dont work all the time.
