ab9 help

    i have an ab9 with core 2 dou E6600 with 2 GB RAM. It has 450 watt PSU and MSI 7600 GT. Motherboard will not post, ERROR CODE 8.7. Help PLEASE. ASAP

    error code 8.7? does that really appear on ure screen?

    no on the display on the mother, in the manual it says error code 8.7 is check cpu core voltage

    exactly what i thought i was overclocking my cpu and it turned on for 2 secs then it turned of i was gonna say this but u didnt say u were overclocking i would check psu

    Hi 123 pimp, this is exactly what I have. Did you get to the bottom of it? I'm now suspecting the motherboard. Mine is a brand new build today!!

    is the power supply powerful enough for the new build? post ure specs

    Thanks for your reply. New 500W PSU. Also tried a second supply. Same problem.
