So i have the RANT release of Burnout Ultimate Box and i have been checking it with ABGX all day yesterday and today and it all passes except the xex/ss ini file which is giving the 404 error indicating it isnt in the database yet. but when i go to the abgx site http://www.abgx.net/filename/?ch=6 the release i am talking about is 3-4 entries down and as you can see it says YES too all region free fields and ss/stealth patch, and does not indicate it is a bad rip/CRC need fixed. So does this mean it is safe to burn and play or should i wait till it can be passed thru the application
not sure if you heard, but you need to replace the .ini file in your abgx folder to connect to the new database.
I have the same problem with grand theft auto 4 & yes have updated the ini file 3 days ago. Any help surgestions??/
ok it still isnt in the database when i try to check it in abgx and my ini is up to date i checked it. But now i have a different question. This game Burnout Paradise Ultimate Box is only being released in the USA on the PC and not 360 or PS3. But the game is region free so i am curious if i go on live would there be any problems. I have other PAL version games that are region free but those games were also released in the USA so it is kinda different. I have not burned this yet so i do not know if it shows up as Burnout Paradise or if it says it is the ultimate edition when u are playing. I know all the added stuff can be downloaded via live for the regular version but the party pack mode is 800 ms points /lame
I was looking forth for an answer to this question. It's too bad it didn't really get answered. The question I wanted to answered is whether the torrent's being listed on abgx.net, with everything approved (SS, stealth, CRC), guarantees that the game is safe, or whether one still needs to patch the game using the ABGX 360 program just to be 100% safe.
sorry but gotta bump this one up to get an answer hopefully. Does no one here know if a game being on the ABGX site makes it ok to play online or not? I check this game with the ABGX app and there is no INI in the database for it but it is listed on the site so i am really confused here. I guess the only person that seems to ever know anything like this is guesswho and where ever guesswho has gone is anyones guess
The ABGX site checks it out good so it will be OK to play online. But remember that there is no 100% way to avoid the bannings.
Thanks for the reply dude. I wonder why it shows on the site but no ini for the application to check it. very weird, but yea i know what you mean about no way to be 100% sure...just have to do what we can. Thanks!
If that's so then how come Abgx 360 still downloads a new .ini when you check a game listed on the Abgx site? Since everything was already checked by the site, why does Abgx 360 apply more patches to the game? That hints to some discrepancies between the site's checks and the program's checks.
the only link to any forum i see on the abgx site is to xbox scene.....they is tons of good info on xs but too many douches for me to put up with
I would REALLY like to know the answer to this as well. Having the same problem with F.E.A.R 2. I've looked around on Xbox Scene and other sites but no luck
well i did find the forums for abgx. here http://360patches.com/index.php and also this link http://abgx360.net/GamesByDate.txt will show a list of all games in the database and when it was last updated. FEAR 2 has been added since this morning at 9 am when i checked as well as Onechanbara from what i read on the forums there games are not added to the DB earlier than release date usually cause it is harder to find a retail copy of course and no requestes for said files for a unreleased game can be requested before the official release date. the link i was going by before that i thought was indicating what games were in the db is not the case. i am not sure but i think what i was looking at before was just a list of current releases not indicating they are in the verification db yet. so fear is up now and onechanbara what i really REALLY want is SF4 verification. i dont even want to try it before then as i do not want to waste any discs unless i have to. having to burn another copy is not cool.
But Burnout Paradise has been out for a while now so why does that still not download the ini file? Although I see that it's not in that txt list
thats why cause it isnt in the list so the ini isnt there. i dont know why it is taking so long since the game has been out awhile. has to be someone with a retail copy.
OK thanks but I still don't understand why FEAR 2 isn't verifying then as I have the region free one as it says in the list
