I've never payed much attention to video cards before but I was building a new PC and I had the choices of the NVIDIA GeForce 7300 or the GeForce 7600. I noticed that the 7600 had dual DVI output which made me curious how it is used? I've never played a video game on a PC before but I do watch TV and camcorder clips and was wondering if a good video card is necessary for watching HDTV clips, etc? The person at the store told me that both DVI outputs broadcast the same screen so you will see the same screen on both sides. Does that mean I will need two mice? Also I noticed that the DVI on the video cards and my HDTV are DVI-"I" but the cables I was browsing online were DVI-"D". Whats the difference? And why do they build a DVI-I port into my computer when I have 2x HDMI inputs on my TV anyway and can just as easily use an HDMI -> DVI cable. Is there an inherent advantage to using DVI -> DVI? Thanks for any help with my questions.
