has anyone used DVDRebuilder Pro/CCE with AnyDVD in the background? I finally tried it with HOSTEL, movie only, No Compression, and it burned the movie with IMGBurn in less than 29mins! Right from the DVD..... no ripping needed!~ I thought that was cool!

Yup sure have! It saves having to rip to the HD first....

But if you were doing no compression, then what was the point of DVD-RB/CCE?

ImgBurn could have done it all f Anydvd was running in the background.

    Just wondering! :p

I trust RB..... and I never did it that way before. I just burn the movie...... will IMGBurn do just the movie with Anydvd in the background?

I don't think Imgburn can handle this on its own, even with AnyDVD. DVD-RB is needed (or another tool like Recode, DVDRemake, etc.) in order to get a movie only back-up. An image file would still need to be created in order for Imgburn to have something to burn. Imgburn will not create an image file.

I only used DVDRB to make it an ISO file so that IMGBurn would work! I could have used CopyToDVD and be done with it! I just used AnyDVD to rip some old movies and then CopyToDVD for the burn..... did a nice job!~
