Yes, you can do it one of two ways. You can either use a simple authoring program like Nero Vision Express or DVD Builder, or a more professional program like DVDlabpro, Sonic Scenarist, or DVD Architect. Someone suggested DVD Menu Studio and I checked it out and it is the easiest way to make your own menu, but you will have to import the file to your authoring program. DVDlabpro comes with a 30 day full featured trial, so that is very good to get evaluate the program and get a few movie done as well. With the simple program you only drag and drop your movies and follow the wizard. The the better programs, you have to tell it what order to play things, what to do when something finishes playing, tell it where each menu button points to, etc... The whole process can take about 30 minutes to a few hours, but you get far better results.

You can use .wav for sound, but .ac3 cuts the sound file size more than half. I use TMPGEnc to encode and demux .m2v and .wav: http://www.pegasys-inc.com/en/download/index.html I use 2.5 plus, but the Xpress version seems easier to use. I do not know the limitations of the Demo, but you may be able to use the install version for 15 days. Make sure your output is two files for each movie clip (.m2v and .wav). For converting to .ac3 I use Sony Vegas: http://www.sonymediasoftware.com/download/Step2.asp?DID=583 Again, I do not know the limitations of the Demo, but it should last about 30 days or so. Once you install this, you cannot reinstall it to get it to work again, so I assume it is full featured. You can also try Besweet, which is freeware: http://besweet.notrace.dk/ You can download either a stable or beta version. Also do not forget to download a besweet GUI (belight is the easiest to use). Also download the ac3enc dll file from the plugins section.
I would check www.vso-software once and a while. Very soon their new version of DivxToDVD (1.99.13 soon to be 2. . . . .) will allow for menu creation. (Granted this may only be of interest for you if you want to also convert thoses series into DVD format---although I wonder if simply selecting two films already in DVD format running them through DivxToDVD with the menus set how you want them, will author and burn just the way you want? That would be pretty cool.
yeah i used dvdtodivx i never know u can make a menu from the promblem and to burn it right away dont u need like coptodvd promblem
VSO has recently come out with their shareware version of DivxToDVD, which supports subtitles, has its own burning engine and will very soon allow menu insertion (and later on down the road custom menus). Of course you can try out the new version (as a trial, it runs pretty slow as their is a watermark that slows down the whole process by as much as 2 times, which of course isn't on a purchased copy). If I were you I would wait until a verion with menus comes out and then try a trial and see if you like the job it did since that is what you are looking for. There also is a guide for the 1.99.13 version on afterdawn too. A lot of afterdawn users seem to be already familiar with this software and could give you their thoughts----the freeware version (0.5.2) of DivxToDVD is still available from afterdawn also.
The shareware version is already out, but does not do menus yet (so yes in that sense you need to wait for this function), I think that within 2 months this options should be available. Otherwise Tmpgenc and Diko should let you add menus.
