hope this is the right forum I have a panasonic plasma tv and have it hooked by via componet cables to the dvd player, there is a function on th edvd player for progressive scan is this better than componet or?
Progressive scan refers to non-interlaced video, which is output on the component 9as opposed to composite) video output. They are, in effect, apples and oranges but refer to the same thing.
