Hello, its me again, i'm sure if you go look at the only post I had, it was about my xbox not being able to be fixed. I was thinking, I had started tinkering with the xbox I had gotten tired of working with, and not knowing that the 5 hour electricity life was going to give out the clock gives it the error 16. Well I was thinking if there would be a way to create a program that would be able to reset the time and be able to reinstall the software needed to give back the old dashboard. Once it ran from the cd, the autorun or something like that would be able to minipulate the time by putting it on a time and date, then after it were to do that, it would run through the system's harddrive to see if any other updates are needed, if it were to find that there is no Dashboard or a specified file, it could restore or replace it. I have a C++ program, and I am still learning it, I hardly know what to do, thats why I would ask someone who knew what they were doing. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong sector.
