The tutorial for my xenon looks fairly straight forward enough, what do I do after installing XBR to get the most functionality out of my JTAG? I dont really know anything about the dashboards and whatnot that are out or which is considered the best. Also what's a good site for JTAG homebrew?

you install freeboot. Sounds like you need to do more research. The xenon is the easiest one to do. I have a nand flasher from Maximus I don't use anymore if you want it.

i've got the initial install process down, it's just once I have XBR on there there's a bunch of stuff that I have no idea about. Freeboot, FSD, xexmenu, xell/xellous, dashlauncher, etc

And do I need to worry about the R6T3 resistor? Removing it or bridging those two points?

like I said, I use the nand flasher with the boards and it makes the process so much easier and clean. Freeboot is an image you make and flash to the nand. The rest you mention are all apps that install on the HD. You need to follow the steps exactly.

so you got a dump and confirmed it has an exploit?

I haven't dumped it yet, no radio shacks near by to get the diodes/db25 :\

So what about the efuse, do I need to worry about either removing the resistor or bridging the two connections?

    Same here. I bridge u6t1/2.

But it wouldn't matter as it's a horse apiece. Either bridge u6 or remove r6; it's the same amount of work and they're both easy. If you remove r6t3 just flood the resistor with a blob of solder. It'll float right off. Takes 2 seconds.

Oh, and you don't want to install xbr. That's old. Use the latest freeboot.
