About transfering VHS to DVD

    Looking at the various hardware for 'Colour Correction' and 'Video Stablisation'etc; I cannot understand why the connections are always 'Composite ' and 'S-Video'. I thought that 'Scart' was the superior form of connection and I wonder why it's not used in these cases. Could it be that scart does'nt work as well? I realize that this may well seem inane but I really would like to know.

    Is it possible they are USA models? Scart not used in the USA.

    Thank you Dave for your quick response. You could well be right. Thinking about it, maybe most UK companies just import these.
