? about well known cable company

I have TW basic lineup. Is there a box that will allow me to descramble all the chanels or is that only for sat service.

 

Cable descramblers use to be for sale everywhere until the companies when to digital signal on most of their pay channels. I have seen a few advertisements for digital cable boxes but have read that most are scams. It seems the cable companies are keeping a tight lid on those kind of boxes. You can do a Google search for Cable descramblers and you will find many places selling them, but most are the older obsolete ones. You need a digital box these days. There may be some out there but I haven't found a site I can trust yet.

It wont I thought you where talking about TW in the UK. Apologies for the confusion.

 

I wasn't too familiar with Starview but thought it was similar to an FTA box for sat reception in the UK. Does it actually work on the UK cable systems??

Hiya Jerry yes it will, that and many other boxes, i.e Dboxs, Dreambox, Eurovox and more. They work on DVB-C & DVB-T systems. Starview is only for DVB-C.
