Can anyone tell me why my 200 gb maxtor drive gets only read as a 31.49 gb drive in both Winhiip and HDL dumb. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I can't put anymore backups onto my hd.

I read many places that Winhiip and HDL dumb create conflicts with each other. Also people with used original ps2 hard drives may have old Final fantasy files inside.my 2 cents

I had this problem too. Have a 160gb maxtor and when I put it in my computer, WinHIIP saw it as 31.49gb. Realized I hadn't put the jumper setting on slave. Once I did, it was seen as a 120gb. Still not sure why it won't recognize it as 160, but 120 is better than nothing.

Winhiip does not support drives over 128 gb so it scales back larger drives to a size it supports
