I'm having trouble converting divx files that contain AC3 audio. The video portion looks great however the audio comes out distorted and metallic sounding using the canopus pro coder and converting to VOB files. I've tried other coders however I like the scheduling features of the Canopus software.

    Hi bellini25.

There might be an error within your ac3 file itself.

Try using Virtual Dub Mod to demux your audio (rip audio from video),
then use BeSliced v0.2 to fix your ac3 file. Does canopus pro coder allow to input a separate audio file when adding your video to render?
If not, there's another program called VOB Merge 2.5 which allows you to join the two files.

    Hope this works.
If you have any que's 'bout how to use these apps, just ask.
