Hi I have a dvd i created using VSO divxtodvd, I cant hear the audio at all. I have checked gspot and it says i have ac3 and codecs are installed. I have ac3 filter and all the reccomended codecs. Normal audio is fine but ac3 is totally silent. Also, in ac3filter config, i notice that when i play the DVD on windvd, none of the EQ sound bars are moving, so it looks like nothing is getting to the ac3filter. I changed the diectshow filter setting to wav also. I have a SBlive sound card with KXproject drivers, i have tried adjusting all of the speaker/input etc settings to no avail. I have made sure the prority of the ac3 filter is set at 1 in codecs settings. I made sure i restarted the player each time I made a change. Getting impation, and ideas please?
If you still have the original avi, try change the audio to mpeg layer 3 with Power Video Converter or X Video Converter (change video to xvid too if need be). Works for me every time. Also, try download and install K-Lite Codec Pack (full or mega version) if you don't have all the needed codecs: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm Good luck!
