Hey Guys, this has probably been discussed before so if anyone can find the thread please post.

I am running CloneDVD, I am fairly new to this dvd burning thing so I am using the 14 day free trial but will buy it if I can get this working. I have aleady Ripped a DVD from the DVD itself to my hard drive. The DVD folder exists on my hard drive with all the .BUP files and .VOB files intact. However, when I use CloneDVD once again to burn the DVD folder (that was created earlier) to a blank dual layer 8.5GB DVD-R DL, I get an error after step 1 of 2 completes that reads "Access violation at address 036AC81F in module vso_hwe.dll. Read of Address 849320FA"

The DVD I ripped to the hard drive was a fairly recent movie, only a few years old. Any ideas how to get rid of this ridiculous error message. I even tried moving the ripped DVD folder and its contents to another disk drive on my computer but it still didn't work. I also tried numerous CD's as well.

    Any info would be appreciated!
    Thanks in advance!

I don't use that program, so this is all surmise:
Is the error message part of a log file - if so you might post the particulars related to this burn.

There seems to be a consensus among users of DL disks that only Verbatim DVD+R DL should be used and only ImgBurn be used to burn them.
