Hiho, I wanted to force my xbox to boot with avalaunch instead of evoX and I put the avalaunch.xbe in C: and renamed the evoxdash.xbe to evox.xbe - Surprise, surprise - evox is not booting anymore, but avalaunch is also not booting - I see the MS dashboard. Also my FTP connection is gone! How can I rename the evox.xbe to boot again ? Thx!
do you have a chip or softmod installed? if its a softmod you can run the softmod again and load the backup softmod if you happened to backup the softmod or backed up the MS Dashoard. Most softmods you can get to and edit by opening up your DVD drive on the Xbox right when you turn it on. It should then load the softmod menu up onto your screen where you can reinstall or load the dashboard backup files to get it to work again.
for auto installer deluxe or things like that ,you must go into the installer thru the disc u used like splinter cell and backup the mod.
