Hi, I would appreciate any input on the subject matter. I'm running akaio 1.4.1, I open the cheats menu, select database, rebuild for the cc, then select my cheats and save using the Select button. However the cheats are not active when I run the game. If I switch off the console and go back to the same game's cheat menu, the cheats I had selected previously are still selected. I fear I am missing something incredibly obvious but for the life of me can't figure it out, I've spent the past 2 hours trawling the internet for any help with no luck. Thanks in advance.
i remember i had 3 type of cheat database type, cheat.dat, cheats.xml and usrcheat.dat, and then select which ever one works for that particular game. i dont recall having to rebuild them though (memory is fuzzy with old age). Try selecting different database, and upgrade your akaio to v1.5 and errrr... the obvious, enable the cheat setting. cheat files and akaio v1.5 available at www.gbatemp.net
Once you have selected your cheats, you then press "SELECT" to activate them. you then load your game and it loads it with the cheats you have selected. hope this helps.
