I have the acekard 2i for the dsi, It has stopped working on my dsi. I have deleted all downloaded games but did not delete the software when i have looked at it it seems to me something is missing only software i can see is the scshell folder, should there be more. Any help much appreciated
i think your 'scshell' is a system file for 'supercard dsone'. what you need for acekard 2i is __ak2 and akmenu4.nds goto http://www.acekard.com/ for download. ps, dont update your DSi console to 1.4e untill you update your acekard 2i first.
Thanks for reply. I cleared everything from the card and started over from scratch but still nothing, can a game i downloaded corrupt the card as everything was ok until i downloaded from romsite.net.
i dont know about a rom damaging a card, but i do know its possible because thats how some card's bootloader is updated, by using a .nds file and runs it in the ds console. i suggest you try out your acekard on a ds lite console if you can, and update the bootloader, see here on how http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=174529 if your acekard is dead, then you can borrow or buy an acekard and use that to fix your faulty one. the way to update the bootloader is run the .nds file then eject the card while the ds is still on, then insert another card and run to update. the process is much simpler than i can explain it, i can help if u really needs it.
my daughter has the ds onei card and hers has just done the exact same thing as the acekard, I don't understand it. Do you have any ideas thanks for your help so far p.s downloaded same games on hers as on the other
did you update your DSi to 1.4e firmware? if you havent, then the same game must be the problem. edit, you can update your DSONEi card by using the included USB writer, goto supercards website and download the bootloader file, called updateen.bin and place it in the root of the micro sd card (i think) then put it into the card then into the usb reader then into your pc. the red light should flash and turns green when done, takes about 8 minutes.
