Acer Aspire 3050 won't power on

    I've tried to plug in an AC adapter and charge the battery but even after that it still doesn't turn on. Does anyone know why?

    What else do you need to know?
    and if it is the motherboard, where can I get it fixed for a reasonable price?

    Umm, like how was it acting previously or did it just go dead. I couldn't possibly know for sure if it's the motherboard, just an off the cuff guess from past experience. As for repair, make a few phone calls for cripes sake.
