Can some one look at the specs of this laptop and tell me if it is any good.Is the price and brand of the pc any good as well. I don't really have that much money to spend.i would prefer to buy the cheaper laptop, because i don't there is that much difference in the spec of both laptops. I would say go with the second one. I am not sure about ram prices in UK, but the second one has a faster processor and twice the ram. Also from the specs you posted I beleive the second laptop has a SATA hard drive which tends to be better as well.
The second one is much better, but I'd try and avoid the acer brand if I were you, there's much better quality stuff out there that's not that much more expensive.
i would advise you to stay away from ACER as there low end products(laptops and prebuild desktops) are complete junk. I work in retail and in the last 2 weeks i have seen a total of 6 ACERS come back with mobo problems.
@Bethel1 The second one gives so much more for only 70.00 more(I have an US keyboard - no pound symbol). Burn On, Russell PS. I bought a $350 Acer laptop to give to my neice. It works very well when I was cleaning out all the trailware and tweaking it. It worked very smooth even with Vista on it (One gig of ram).
