So is there a cheating device that you can enter codes for psx games that works on a PAL ps2? I have a soldered mod chip if that makes a difference...
Any psx cheat device, such as Action Replay or Xploder (except the cartridge based ones - they must be CD devices only) for PSX, but you won't find one sold in shops unless its pre-owned, and it must be PSX specific. There was also a Bonus PsOne Cheat Disc with the old AR2v2 for PS2, but again, this is no longer made or sold, so you'd need to look in a games store psx bargain bin, or eBay for it.
Hmm this is strange because I tried that action replay off megagames.com and a cracked gameshark lite and they both wouldn't start up. But then I tried them on a psx emulater and they worked fine. Although I think they may have been NTSC. I just kept getting that red screen saying insert a playstation... ect.
