I purchased DVD X Copy Platinum early in the year and registered/activated it through 321. I was having problems trying to make a back-up. I uninstalled and reinstalled and now it won't work at all - I believe due to it having to be activated again. Does anyone have leads on how.where to activate my program again?

When you get it loaded and you get to the screen where you put your license and password in, put that info in and then on the next screen it will ask you how you want to activate, press activate from another computer. put a floppy in your A drive and save the info there that is will send you. then go to A drive and click/open the file, that will take you to a website. at the website it will download another file , save to your floppy again. got to your A drive and open the new file, it will then say activation complete. I just did this yesterday to dvd xcopy and games xcopy and both activated and work fine now. hope this helps.

Thanks for your response. I do not get a screen to input the license and password. The only place I saw that was on the 321 website. When I click on the DVD X Copy icon the program opens. When I select either simple or advanced and insert the DVD it asks the question if it's borrowed or rented. I respond "no" and then the screen with the "start" button opens. I select start and the it completely scans the DVD. When it is complete it says insert the blank DVD - which I do. At that time the program does not respond. The grey start button never turns green for you to click... It just sits there. Is this an activation problem - or is there another issue?
