Hello, I know this is not the first thread about adding a 2nd hard drive, but I will appreciate your time and help. Unfortunately, one of my computer's hard drive is running very low on space. I have 250 GB 3.5 Internal hard drive IDE, that I would like to install instead of buying an external HD. The hard drive was previously installed in an xbox that was modded to play games, music, videos, directly from the hard drive. My questions are will I run into problems? Will I need to reformat the HD? Etc…

Yes, this is going to be my first time installing a second hard drive to any computer ever. I’ve been looking at many articles, some of them have been helpful but the lack on step by step procedures.

    Thank you..

You should't need to, assuming you're not putting windows on it. All you would need to do is plug it in and make sure it's set to the SLAVE drive (assuming your other hard drive is IDE as well).
