adding a pic to thread

    How do i add a picyure to a posting?....i've seen this:
    [​IMG] -- This will show a picture.

    but what if i want to add a pic that resides on my hd?...i've seen a posting with a pic from a hd by the looks of it. Can anyone enlighten me?
