okay this is the dillio, i have a softmodded xbox with a 250gb HDD in it and i wanted to add a second 300gb HDD that i have laying around my house to my xbox as a second HDD is it possible to take out the dvdrom out of the xbox since i never use it anyways with a 250gb hdd and to replace the dvdrom with a second hdd? is that possible? i know when u dont have a mod it would come up with a error saying the rom is bad but with a mod do u even get error codes? therefor if there is no error code wouldnt it be possible to just replace the dvdrom with a hdd?
you still get error codes with a chip. I have seen people talk about dual hard drives in an Xbox. I think they use to have an expanded case i just can't seem to find one anywhere.
