Depends what you mean by add. Could mean mux the sub into the avi via AVIMuxGUI. Could mean playback via dvobsub. Could mean hard encode the sub into the avi via textsub.
Thanks Celtic_d for your post....Actually I wanna encode the sub into my AVI file. Where can I get the appropriate program?
Hello, I am just trying my first avi to dvd with subtitles so I will let you know how it comes out the software I am using is Cucusoft AVI converter pro and Vobsub. You can download both at cucusoft.com and vobsub at the following link http://www.avi-vcd.com/codec.asp. I will be burning this file using cucusoft dvd burning software. I have been using these programs for awhile and they just keep improving in speed and quality. Once you buy them you get free upgrades for life. I wish microsoft did that lol...let you know later how it all turns out.
Success, the combination mentioned above worked flawlessly the conversion took about 45minutes longer than usual but the resulting dvd was perfrect. This combination of VobSub might also work with VSO Divx to Dvd and I will try that out later and post it also.
