Okay so I recorded some stuff on my Philips DVDR70 and I want to create a nice menu for the stuff I have recorded. However I've not yet come accross a prog that will allow me to do this without completely re-encoding the DVD files. This is a process that takes a long time so it would be really handy if there's a simple enough prog that allows menu creation in a similar way to Nerovision but doesn't need to do all that nonsense of re encoding or whatever it's doing.

Any help will be much appreciated!

Are you using NeroVision Express v3.0? If so, click on More at the
bottom of the screen, then select Video Options and check the box to Enable SmartEncoding which apparently looks at the vob file
to see if it is encoded already, if so it will not encode again.

    That sounds very useful.

    Thanks to both of you!
