Adding second hard drive (SATA) - Solved

    My PC has one hard drive installed. It is an IDE drive. Can I install a new SATA drive as a secondary drive? My mother board supports SATA but I don't know if I can mix and match IDE and SATA. Any info would be helpful.Thanks in advance.

    yes you can. i do this on my desktop. 2 ides, one with the OS on it, another with just junk, and then 3 sata drives for storage and programs.
