I have an Ipod a friend of mine wants me to add some songs to but I can't figure out how to add any songs since ITunes tells me that the Ipod is not synced with my library. Is there a way around this?
Ok first the easiest thing to do is burn the songs you he wants to a cd and then he or she can rip them to their itunes, second thing you can do, he or she has to connect their ipod to their computer, in itunes and select, manage this ipod manually, this mean you will drag the songs manually to the ipod and manually eject it before you can disconnect, the only thing, is that he or she has to do this from now on, in their computer as well, otherwise as soon as they select, automatic manage my ipod, any songs not present on the original computer will be erased out of the ipod, This is Apple's way of making sure your not using the ipod to pirate music. Yea Apple GIVE ME A BREAK lol. Good Luck
actually, it's very simple. just tell your friend to download and install this program, then he needs to select the songs he wants. Finally, he clicks on the backup button and all the songs will be copied to his itunes library and then he will be able to sync his ipod! that's all!
Sharepod is another alternative that my kids use to sync their Ipods to more than one computer. www.sharepod.com Really simple as well, you don't need Itunes either.
