I have many DVD's that i'd like to edit so to have my name pop up every once and awhile (i.e "this is property of Kylejon"). Reason being to prevent illegal copies.

What is the best way to do this so that my name can't be removed?

Would it be to convert the DVD to MPEG or AVI, edit it, add what i want written and then reburn new copy?

If i was to do the above method, is it possible for someone to remove what i have done without editing it so that it's blurred out?

That's the only way i can think of doing what i want, is there a better why to do this?

You'll lose quality if you convert to AVI and back. Take a look at 'Womble' products. They can edit MPEG and only re-encode the parts that need it. Another possible option is to add your name as a forced subtitle and make turning it off a Prohibited User Operation (PUO) in your DVD authoring software. That's all I know about it, but it might get you started.
