adjust nero burn speed?

    i burned a movie to disc at x2 and was fine i then went to burn the same file again but used a different disc and burned at x4 but would not play but am not given the opportunity to change the speed back to x2
    can you help

    Did you use Nero Recode, Nero Vision Express, Nero Express, or Nero Burning Rom? My Nero always let me choose the burning speed.

    am using nero express
    its a JVC dvd r im using which will burn up to 4x.

    Maybe we have different versions of Nero Express, mine let me choose the burn speed.
