Evening all, Is anyone aware of any good guides to using Adobe Encore? What i would like to do is take an AVI of some footage i've captured with a video camera. I'd like to add some 'sweet' menus, with nice transition effects and animated buttons. I'm hoping to lose my regular 'home-made' looking menu's from Nerovision (not blaming NeroVision as I'm aware of my own constraints also!). I realise that within the constraints of Encore, I probably couldn't do all these things, but I will be closely working with Adobe Photoshop too, which should hopefully pick up the where Encore left off. If anyone has any suggestions for alternative applications, please feel free to suggest, I'm nothing if I'm not flexible! Thanks in advance!
I'm just now experimenting with Encore along side DVD-Lab Pro so far I've found Encore to be more of a pain in the ...Rear than DVD-LAB Pro. The preview(with sound!) is a great advantage. But you want a STEP UP in the Menu Making Department from Nero...right? And Encore just isn't easy in the Polished Menu making department....where as DVD-Lab Pro has a much more "user-friendly" built-in Menu designer. If you check into getting Mediachance Menu Studio it's a very good program for designing your Menu that can be exported as a .psd to Encore..or any number of other Dvd Authoring programs including ReelDVD, DVDit, etc. But if you're already skilled in the Photoshop CS "layer" anti-alis, masking department then Encore is the right way to go..
