Adobe MPEG encoder

    I've got Adobe Premiere 6.5 which came OEM with my PC. Included there is Adobe MPG encoder, how good is this program? I have not tried it, and since it's a time consuming process, I wanted to be aware of it.

    Is it worthful?

    It's excellent, built by Mainconcept (IIRC). If you think that's slow, try tmpgenc!

    It said that it'd take 5 hours to encode a 1 1/2 hour long movie, I'm not that sure TMPG Enc can match this... it usually took me 8 or more hours...
