I want to make a collection of short parts of movie with sound and music at the background. I want to get the movie fragments from divx and xvid movies, but adobe premier does not work with dix or xvid. How can i get adobe premier 6 to work with divx and xvid, or how can i convert divx and xvid files to a format that is supported by adobe premier 6..and does not give me 10G files. Well Do you have the Divx and XviD codec installed??? If for Some Stupid Reason Premier will Not work to Open these Files you can allways convert the Files to another Format Useing something like Virtual-Dub, But this will Lower the Quality of the File useing Most Codecs unless you use the HuffYUV Codec which is a Freeware Lossless Codec but it will make the Files Huge but there will not be any Quality loss...Then you will be able to load the Files into Premier and edit them..You can also Use Virtual-Dub to do some Basic editing Like cutting a File into Clips and Joining files together but only files that have the exact same Specs....well good Luck
