I was wondering if there was a way to split clips in Adobe Premiere 6? I have a large file and I'd like to break it down into smaller pieces so it's easlier to use (like you can in Windows Movie Maker). Is there a built in feature in Premiere 6 for this or a Plugin that I can download?

    It'd make life a little easier. :)

    Thanks.

drag the clip to the timeline, then use the razor blade slicer tool, then you can delete the ones you don't want and export each one individually.

Thanks. But I meant more along the lines of something where you can select the main file and have it split itself into clips that you can drag and drop into the timeline.

But thanks for trying to help anyway. :)
