This is probably a stupid question. I have two ADSL modems for broadband. I have one ISP account, but have two computers. To network them is not convenient. Is it possible to connect the two modems into the same phone line using the same ISP login details . In effect having both computers on line at the same time ??
Not unless you pay for another account.. you need to either chain machines by fitting another lump of networking hardware and sharing the connection of one, or easier just buy a router.
Have found that I can put an extra modem thro' the ADSL Splitter. Problem Solved - thanks for your guidance
