I am getting garbled audio when analogue capturing VHS with my advc-100. I have not used it for a few months and have not have problems in the past. Video quality is fine. I am using ulead DVD movie maker for software. Any help appreciated.

The Only thing I would suggest is to try a different Capture Program so you can see if it is the Software or the device or something else.....

I was using DVD Workshop 1.2 which was very garbled. OK for 10 seconds then goes bad. Then tried Pinnacle Studio 9.0 trial which works much better but not flawlessly as I have experience in the past DVD workshop.

By useing those Programs to capture with you are Basicly defeating the Purpose of haveing the ADVC-100..
You would Get Much better quality if you Captured to the Native DV Format useing something like Vegas Video or Premier and then edited in the native format and then exported as a DV AVI file and then used a High Quality Stanadalone Mpeg2 encoder to encode the DV Files to DVD Compliant Mpeg2 instead of the Crappy Assed Encodeing that DVD Workshop or Pinnacle Studio 8/9 does...It doesn"t make much sence useing a High Quality Capture device like the ADVC-100 with Low Quality Capture and encodeing software Like Ulead and Pinnacle....Or does it?
