    Hi

Im a novice to cable boxes and im looking to find out what box would suit me best. I live in Glasgow and subscibed with VM.

i have been looking into buying a box for sometime and have been looking over the forum to see what one would suit me but 1 month on im still very confused.

i do have some computer knowledge if given instructions would be able to do it but apart from that im hopeless!!

So i hope you's can point me in the direction i need to go and give me your feedback from your experiences.I have been offered a Starview box 3 but not to sure how these update and if i need to install any firmware/software myself. Also been looking at Eurovox but need more info on both really to what is the best performance and most reliable and is it easy to operate (update)

so again any help would be appreciated.

    Kind Regards

    Gaz

A lot of boxes fit your criteria, I would recommend the Eurovox and any box you get you will need to update the firmware yourself. All the info you need is here and is straight forward.

All the info you need is here, if you cant find it by searching, just ask someone will point you in the right direction.

Yes its easy to update, firmware updates are more of a counter active measure nowadays. So only really need to update when there is a call for it.
