I was wondering if there is any way to burn sony pictures DVD's. I have been using DVD x copy Xpress and cant do it with this roggy. Help please?
@kylemo well im kinda new at the hole law side of copying things but i do belive "burning movies" is ilegal. If u had of said backing up... well any way, could u refresh my memory, wats a sony picture DVD? once i no wat it is i can probably help u ^_^
@kylemo A lot of Sony movies have their ARccOS protection on them. Xcopy can't handle this. You'll need AnyDVD (free trial for 21 days & runs in the backgound) or rip w/ dvdfab decrypter.
even with anydvd dvdxcopy xpress still will not be able to burn sony. xpress is over two years old, with no updates since 321 studios closed.
have had luck with dvdfab decrypter and shrink over dvdxcopy good luck backing up your movies Bootsie
Oh yes - sony's can be a peice of cake! Just need the right progs. Check out this link - has guides to the the progs and links to them. http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/index.html The easiest combo is AnyDVD w/ CloneDVD - well worth the $. AnyDVD is continually updated to stay on top of anything new coming out.
binkie7 is absolutely correct. Both programs are updated frequently. In fact, AnyDVD was updated today.
a free solution to your problem... dvd shrink http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_shrink.cfm dvd43 http://www.dvd43.com/ simply make sure dvd43 is running before you use dvd shrink to complete your backup. the icon will turn green if its ready. fyi, dvd shrink has not been updated in a while, so it needs dvd43 to handle the modern protection. dvd43 is not updated very often (last update 12/7/05), so you would be best to purchase anydvd.
I use cloneDVD2+AnyDVD and never have a problem!! Also if decide to purchase AnyDVD or any slysoft product. put AFTERDAWN in coupon code do get $10 off....
I would like to say hello to this afterdawn world also...i have been reading and gathering great info from this site for 2 months...i finally joined the place!! It's a great site
Hey rommel00 Welcome to aD! Good choice in progs - you should have little if any problems backing up your movies w/ those.
