i recently got another kryptview and all the channels keep freezing or jumping, the firmware was already on it when i got it, so i tried to do a factory reset and re-flashing but the same thing happens its not my cable or scart lead as my other 1 works fine on them and have tried it in other peoples houses.
anybody out there with same experience that can give me some or any advice,
    thanks in advance

first off make sure your settings are correct

pal should be selected in the menu >> system settings >> other settings

check that the Tv type is selected to pal

also are you using a splitter on your incoming cable ??

what is the signal and quality % can you tell me thanks

what is the date of the firmware on your box ??

yes my tv type is set to pal

no i an not using a splitter

and my signal is around 72 and quality is the same also i use a signal booster
and the firmware is 19032009 but when i got the box it already had the same firmware on it or ready to plug and play

ps the other box i have is working fine when i swap them around???

(i think the chap i got it of must have done something wrong)eg: done a bad flash first then tried to correct it???

ok do a factory default on the box and see will this correct it

if not then just reflash the box and see will that solve the problem

i did and the other 1 works fine but the new 1 keeps freezing, jumping & getting no or bad signal up on the screen every 2 min.

also when i do a factory reset it has the new software on it already so it makes no difference when i try and put it on again, i keep getting same results

thats exactly what i have going in scart which is ok on my other kryptview
and normal cable with a 'f' part on it so it can screw in, which also works fine on my other kv box

i was having similar probs last week myself and fergusrb tried a lot of solutions, but in the end it turnd out the ribbons inside the box were loose, just unscrew 6 screws and take the lid off, u will see 3 set of white cable ribbon just make sure they are pushed home snug and thight, i think maybe they might come loose in transit if they get aknock, mine has worked fine since i did this, it mightbe worth a try if everything else failed.
