Advice On Modding - SCPH-30003

    Wow, its been a long time since i been on this forum im supprised i can even still remember my password. Anyways ive always been a fan of nintendo more then sony so never really followed the PS2 scene.

    I have 2 PS2 - SCPH-30003
    What is the best way to mod these? either to have harddrive? or play backups using a modchip.
    I have priviously tried the slide the tray open crap but its so long doing that every time. Thanks for any help

    Hi

    My advice for that model PS2 would be to have someone install fmcb 1.8 to memory card for you.

    Then get a hdd and use the hdloader included in fmcb 1.8 to play games off it.

    Or if your laser is in great shape, using the ESR elf in fmcb 1.8 to play backups.

    YOu only have to patch the ISO images first with "esr disc patcher", then burn to DVD

    I agree about the slide tool - a fliptop is much better and easier on the FAT PS2.

    But thats just my suggestion for your PS2.
