hi all i have the old strv 3 its great all channels etc the thing is i know how to sort out any problems with this box and to get the software in is a breaze , i know want another box upstairs and all i can find is the new STRV 4 ! are they easy to update fron usb? any major probs with them? if they are cool il order one , any help would be great chaps. they are simple mate no prob at all all done by usb pendrive which should come with the box put the file on the pen drive put it in the box and then just load it to the unit no more messing with pc and cables
i agree...sv4 is easy to set up and use....load the firmware+loader onto the usb...you may have to purchase one if you dont have already...in menu,go to usb,press ok and then press ok on the firmware..thats it...then its all the same a s the sv3...... between you and me,the sv3 is better..dont get no probs with the epg...
they dont sell the starview 3 anymore and the new v1.09 should have fixed the epg on the starview 4 the only starview 3 available to buy now is the clones so if you see starview 3 for sale keep well away that my advice
