would you swap an unlocked nokia 6230 for a nokia 6680 locked to 3???

6680 is not unlockable right now remotely. Only the provider can do that.

I would stay with the 6230 till the 6680 is unlockable.

 

I can borrow an old nokia tho, i basically want to know if the swap is worthwhile for the future?

 

It might be worthwhile for the future. But I have no idea if anyone will be able to remotely unlock the 6680.
