I need help with repairing my pc. My computer has been infecte with Vundo & Trojan -NewJuan/VM. I can't not download any of my updates. I get a message saying Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage.
    Most likely cause:
You are not connected to the interntet
    The website is encountering problems
There might be a typing error in the address.

When I printed this page it has res:/ieframe.dll/dnserror.htm

I have Norton Antivirus 360 but it can't get any updates I try and it gives an error, referring to internet problem. I have installed SUPERAntiSpyware could get updates for that, so I ran a scan and found 4 threats detected in memory 24 threats in registry and 16 in files. It Quarantined them. Didn't tell me it deleted them. I also installed Adaware SE Personal and ran that program also found the same threats and quarantined them and said it removed them. Then I read on this website on one of the forums about Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware so I installed that and ran a scan it found 1 in the memory modules and 7 registry keys infected- then it says Registry Values infected 6. Registry Data Items Infected: 0 Folders Infected: 1 Files Infected: 17 Reading the log it has 15 Trojan.Vundo and 3 Trojan.BHO, 5 Trojan.Agent, 5 Rogue.VistaAntivirus2008. Also has 1 Malware.Trace and 1 Spyware.Marketscore. They all have Quarantined and deleted successfully except for 2 it says delete on reboot. Which I did reboot. Ran the scan again and found 0. I also installed the winsock repair. Then I tried the interent explorer still won't let me download or upadate. So I did another scan with AVG and it found 2 infected 1 being Adware Rogue suspect and the other Gdown.
I have been going at this for a week. I don't know what else to do. I really didn't want to reformat my computer. Please someone help.

Sometimes a reformat is what you need, I would suggest getting anything important backed up and formatting and installing windows.

The ONLY reason I say that, it sounds like some important files where infect and REMOVED not just cleaned. Without a detailed log about what norton did you are in the dark as to what all has been removed.

BTW, I would suggest something better for your anti-virus, avast! or spend the $50 for NOD32, well worth the investment. Norton is a beast and Avast! and NOD32 out perform it.

    Just my 2 cents...

I agree the best thing is to reformat my drive. I was just trying to avoid re-installing all my software. I was hoping someone out there had figured a way to fix this. I have backuped all my important stuff. And it looks like I will be reformatting.
Thank You for your prompt reply.
