For an easy program, fast and excellent quality, look here:http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/vso_convertxtodvd_guide.cfm The trial does insert a watermark in your video and runs slower but you can see what you think. For free, here is its predecessor which is missing a lot of the options of the newer version:http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/video_encoders/vso_divxtodvd_free.cfm You'll probably need a burning program like Nero or ImgBurn with the free version and nothing else with the payware version which also supports subtitles and nenues.

I never heard of this type of problem before unless a trial had expired. It can't be a codec issue if they play on your pc. I have no idea what's happening. I'll pm cougar_ii (a beta tester for VSO) to have a look.

i purchased nero 6 on ebay this weekend. only cost a couple of bucks the other forums stated it was more stable than the 7. i really don't like the trials as a newbie if there is a problem i am up the creek. i figured buying it new and registering the product would give abetter performance. $2 on ebay new with keys. no big deal if i have to garbage it.

PM's don't seem to be working from my end. If Nero doesn't work out for you and you are still interested in VSO, I would suggest direct contact or starting another thread. Good luck.

Unfortunately many of the inexpensive Nero's that are available, from many sources, are crippled OEM versions... not good for much more than basic burning.

The decent sellers will spell this out.

    * Nero OEM Suite does not include the DVD Plug-In, which means that Showtime supports viewing of VCD movies but not SVCD or DVD video and Nero Vision Express supports burning of VCD but not SVCD or DVD Video.

    Hi there,

I was asked to provide my input here, but not sure what the issue is.

If you are having registration issue with VSO ConvertXtoDVD, here's what I suggest.

    1) Installed/upgrade to the latest version (Aug 29th, 2006) which is v2.0.17

    http://download.vso-software.fr/vsoConvertXtoDVD2_setup.exe

    2) If you have purchased VSO ConvertXtoDVD and still having registration issues, please contact VSO Official using this little support tool:

    http://download.vso-software.fr/vsorep.exe

    Good Luck !
