When I played the encode I made using TMPGEnc (Mpeg-1,NTSC 4:3 525lines, de-interlace, 2 pass bitrate), the picture becomes fuzzy when peopl move quickly or when the picture pans. Does anyone know what I need to get a clean and clear picture? Thank you in advance for any help!

You can make the quality higher by clicking settings and changing motion search precision to highest quality. This will take longer to encode! Also TMPGEnc Plus would have higher quality!

i also have this problem but i found even with upgrading to plus and upping the settings that its the other end that is usually the problem.backpacks as they are known arent much chock in quality.best off going for dvd rips and screeners.

I wouldn't recommend using TMPGEnc to encode DVD Screeners at all!! The quality is too high. I use CCE SP with DVD2SVCD and the quality is perfect!
