    Here is my setup:

    V1.0 box
    Xecuter 2.0 Lite+
Got the chip to finally line up (after hammering the pin), and flashed the 4977 bios sucessfully...or so it would seem. However, when I turn on the power with the chip enabled I get the three flashes, and on the third flashing red/green. If I disable the chip it boots up like it should with the Xbox dashboard. What is wrong?

I can only think the chip isn't aligned correctly or maybe a bad bios?

I had exactly the same...it was a bad bios that caused it.

You need the 1 meg 4977 and a programmer. I had to buy mine because of the bad flash and it goes into your parallel port. Be sure to set your parallel port to EPP mode forst tho (in your bios) and use the x2cable tool to flash it.
