I swear, I went to many of your Questions/Answers, but I could find what I need to find out. Please help me in details.
    1) I finished timecoding a movie clip (Divx), and adding my subtitle transaltions, using SUBTITLE WORKSHOP.
    2) Now I have 2 files, this movie clip, and the file (looks like a text file), containing time codes and translation.
    3) They are in 2 different files.
    4) How can I put them togehter? What do I need, and what do I need to do?
    5) How can i put them together, and be able to run on one of those softwares such as media players, etc? What do I need, and what do I need to do?

    6) I want to save the movie clip with my subtitle, ON THE SCREEN SHOWN, when I reopen it.. What do I need, and what do I need to do?

Thank you so much. Again sorry if this is a repetitive question, i am sure it is.. (FYI, my translatio is in Japanese, if it makes any difference. I Reside in LA, USA)

you mean you want to put your subtitle permanently on the video file??? That´s the only way to have a subtitle IF you do not want the output to be a DVD (which can toggle them on/off)

Thank you for your reply. Maybe I was not clear.
    Let me paraphrase my question:
How can I put those 2 fies (one movie clip, One subtitle file (looks like text file) I got out of SUBTITLE WORKSHOP(=SW software)?
TOGETHER?? Right now, Only way (I know) is to drag back the movie clip file to SW, then drag gack the subtitle file I made.
Then SW will play the movie cilp with my subtitle.
How can I play like this, on other softwares, such as MEDIA PLAYER, so taht I can show it to other people?
    Thank you.

    Hello,

I also had this trouble. I found the easiest solution was vobsub. Vobsub is free. In vobsub there is an item called "submux". Here you can add your movie then add your subtitles and then press the mux button.

The result is a movie with your subtitles.
