Why hasn't After Dawn made new forums for the Wii & PS3 about modding and backups? I know that the methods are still in the air but people should be able to talk about that in those forums? What's the deal?

    I dont no why!
Gamecube never had one either maybe caus ethey htink its not popular???
These boards are cheap like 10 posts a day no matter how hard you try to get action into it people just end up posting "How Do I burn this game" or "how is ???? Game" in the ps2 section I mean how ca people ask this stuff 7 years after that console came out and post stories about how they got stalked on the way home from buying a Ps3 who'd belive that but no one has the time to post or ask Q's about the most revolutionary system since the N64.
I have tried multiple times oppening about 10 threads
    How is the Wii
Nintendo wii countdown-I put more effort into that thread than any other thread and i got 6 replys out of 4 pages of 3 weeks worth of news a posted each day

aabbccdd Were talking about After Dawn making main forums on the forums home page. Like with the PS2 there are 6 forums just for it! There is still only one forum for the Wii! Like I said earlier, I know that modding has only occurred in days but we still need those other forums for the future, and now, especially since people are starting already to mod around with their wiis.

We typically split forums into smaller sections only when there's a need for it, i.e. specific topic on the forum section gets so much posts (typically thousands per month) that it warrants having its own forum room. Surely, sometimes we do it the other way around and set up a forum room, hoping it to gather discussions on a specific topic, but for example with PS2, there was originally just one forum, which then was split into two, later into four, etc as there was a sufficient amount of posts to warrant having quite specific forum rooms.

    My final verdict:
There is a 99.9999999999999999% Chance that this will be the only Wii forum.
I dont blame afterdawn its not their fault its our a fault for not making threads and making this forum interesting i replied in a forum in the wii sction 4 hours ago and its the 3rd newest replied to forum.
Im still laughing at those idiots that say they got stalked after buying a PS3 the story with someone shooting a shotgun at the stalker ahahahah LOL!!! and there is about 7 more threads besides that one on the same type of thing this is the shotgun one "I got followed from the shop so i turned into my friends house and played the Ps3 through the night and saw the car again in the morning it started following me i turned into my house and told my bro and he fired a shotgun and they ran away"LOL!!!
Cmon people if you want whatever you wanna call it the "wii extension forums on backup etc to happend then you have to make threads and talk about stuff help eachother thats how the Ps2 forum is the biggest hopefully when my launch Aus and europes launch more people will post but until then yeah??
There is about 1million questins I have i post one it never ever gets answerd or talked about!

They could possibly be answered more often if they were in a more direct forum of a console.

I think there should be a even number of forums for each system about the same thing.

i personally think there are more than enough console forums as it is; unfortunately one of the reasons i know this because i spend most of my time here teleporting threads between forums as people just post stuff all over the place; plus there's too many forums that are too similar (in my humble opinion) which adds to the confusion for posters.

maybe the admins will rejig the existing console & DVD ripping forums to rebalance them and rid us of some of the confusion

Well I think the ps2 will become less popular so then we could shrink some of those threads like just into ps2 games, general discusion and maybe backup then open more forums into the next-gen systems.

Agreed! Wish more of the regular posters and newbies alike would move on to Blasteroids.com, IMO.
